Welcome to the City Council page! Cy Wert was born in Mobile, Alabama.  He gradually worked his way west, going to school at the University of Michigan, and landing in Idaho as a river guide in the late 70's.  After working for various outfitters, he arrived in Cambridge in 1980 to work for Hughes River Expeditions.  The next year he started his own business, Cambridge Welding, fabricating rafting equipment and other metal products.  He's been on the Cambridge City Council since 2004. Mary James was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in Meridian, Idaho. She graduated from the College of Idaho, with BA's in Biology, Sociology, and Spanish. After working in health care administration for a few years in Boise, she attended the Idaho State University Physician Assistant Program, and became a Physician Assistant-Certified. She now practices in Ontario, OR at Treasure Valley Pediatric Clinic. She has spent weekends and holidays in Cambridge since 2001 and made Cambridge her permanent home in 2010. She enjoys living in a small town, and participating in many of the outdoor activities the Upper Country has to offer. I attended Cambridge Schools 1963–1968 and then moved to Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1973. After graduation I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and served until 1977 achieving the rank of Sergeant (E-5). I have earned degrees from Boise State University and Iowa State University and was an Electronic Service Technology instructor at Boise State University.  I recently graduated from Front Site Firearms Training Institute’s Instructor Development Program in Pahrump, Nevada. I was a Certified Senior Electronic Technician for 30 years, retiring from Sears. I also worked as an engineer in McCall for 7 years. My wife, Nadine, and I own J&N,LLC , which is firearms sales, gunsmith, and handyman services . I am a member of the N.R.A., Glock Sport Shooting Foundation, Washington County Sheriff’s Posse, and I am the Adjutant for American Legion Post #9, as well as a private pilot and Certified Glock Armorer. Superior St. Cambridge, ID 83610 208-257-3318 Website designed by Levi Morris of Cambridge School District I was born in Clarkston, Washington in 1956 and moved to Fruitland, Idaho at the age of five.  There I spent most of my school years and my mom still lives there.  After high school I moved out on Hitt Mountain and began doing construction work.  I bought property on Advent Gulch in 1978 and have called this area home ever since.  During the 80’s I worked construction out of McCall and on the road while still maintaining a place at East Pine.  In 1989 I moved home full time and started my own construction business VHC Consturction, a concrete placing service.  Now I live in town and enjoy living a rural life style.
