Welcome to the Mayor’s page! Jack Toothman became Mayor of Cambridge on January 15, 2018. Mayor Jack Toothman was born in Port Allegheny, Pennsylvania but was raised in Idaho and Southern California. He graduated from Fontana High School in 1967 and worked various jobs until his enlistment in the U.S. Army in December of 1970. He served overseas in Viet Nam form October 1971 till October 1972 and was stationed the 8thRRFS base in Phu Bai. After his honorable discharge from active duty in December 1973 he went to work at Northrop Aircraft in Hawthorne, California. He worked at Northrop Aircraft for a total of 17 ½ years and retired early to move to Cambridge in July of 1994 with his wife and teenage daughter. Also living in the Cambridge area is the Mayor's older brother Okey Toothman and wife Carol, and younger sister Sandee Damon.  The Mayor is active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization, and is a life member of Post 6232 in Midvale where he served for 9 years as Post Commander and is currently the Post Quartermaster. The Mayor has several hobbies but lists his British sports cars, trucks and farm tractors as probably his favorite.
